Born 59 years ago. Dr, Cooper was a man who stood in the forefront of
his profession. He was a graduate of Howard University, and practised
dentistry in this city for a number of years. He carried on a very
successful practice, and he was very popular with all sections of the
community. He was of a retiring disposition, but he was nevertheless a
true Jamaican at heart, and in his quiet manner he supported a good many
movements for the advancement of his country. Courteous and affable he
made hosts of friends, and his demise came as a shock to many of them
yesterday.
