Dr. W H Keller reportedly entered upon the practice of dentistry in Rio Janeiro, Brazil, in 1868, where he practiced for several years; afterwards he removed to Mexico City, Mexico, where he carried on his profession for thirty-six years. It seems, however, that he stopped off briefly in Jamaica in 1878. By March of 1879 his office was occupied by a young dentist who continued to practise in Kingston for decades into the future.
